with the central figures of deer and axes
The Camunian stele statues are block with slightly anthropomorphic form probably set in an architectonic and scenic contest of alignments or circles and perhaps in reference, like outfit, like in the Swiss Valais, of a ritual areas or tribal reunions. On these monuments we can find engraved figures of weapons, (daggers with triangular blade of lithic or metallic type, axes, halberds) animals, (above all Cervids) objects and symbols, (parallel lines, zig-zag patterns and grids) set in conformity with rules of the Indo-European way of thinking.
