Foppe di Nadro
Rock 22: ploughing scene surrounded by daggers
These historical moments see the consolidation of metallurgy and the rising of the first great centres of this manufacture in the Po Valley, fact that certainly implicated the Alpine valleys and Camonica Valley. The weapons and the metal became goods of changes and their possession element of power.
Iconographically the dominant themes in the engraved representations are the figures of weapons resumed with a wealth of details: on the Camunian rocks we can find hundreds and hundreds.
