From Nadro, northward, one turns into an old path, bounded by high massive walls
that produce sideways cultivated fields from ancient times. The first area of
rock art begins 500 metres ahead: a whole of decorated surfaces
arrives at a vertical face, where prehistoric shelters have been discovered.
Here, a signed path leads to Figna and Campanine areas.
The rock art of Foppe di Nadro includes a limited zone, with a high concentration
of engraved rocks; these engravings are datable between the Neolithic Age
(V millennium B.C.) and the early Middle Ages. Of particular interest are the
compositions of arms dating to the Bronze Age (II millennium B.C.) and the scenes
showing connections with the Etruscans.
